crowning glory

I have to showcase some amazing handiwork by my sister-in-law, Grace. She's a very talented artist in many ways: hair & makeup, sewing, painting, beading and anything she sets her mind on. I'm really proud of her creative efforts! Her friend recently had a bridal shower and Grace made her a beautiful crown with about a thousand SEED BEADS on wire. Yes, she is crazy! It says "bride" on it and has a veil attached. I keep telling her she needs to sell her creations on Etsy, but of course some are too labor intensive for what people are willing to pay. She also did her friend's bridal invitations, hair and makeup. Anyway, enjoy the photos and be inspired...

On a personal note, my daughter loves to dress up and wear crowns. I tell her that someday we will cast down our crowns in worship to Jesus - the only One truly worthy of any crown.

Revelation 4:9-11 says...
"Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever, the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying:

“You are worthy, O Lord,
To receive glory and honor and power;
For You created all things,
And by Your will they exist and were created.”
